I need to replace my AC compressor and I want to buy new, not rebuilt. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good brand that's not dealer OEM?

Denso is the OEM manufacturer so I'd go with that if you can find one, they had been out of stock/on backorder but I'm not sure if they are available yet or not.

When I replaced mine I used a Denso and it worked out perfectly I also replaced my condenser at the same time

    RockAuto might have it.

when a compressor fails it’s SOP to check system while empty for evidence of debris to see if the compressor sent any through the system, requiring a flushing procedure be done to prevent contamination causing premature failure of the next replacement compressor.

I believe Delphi is the OEM manufacturer and Denso rebrands it.
Looks like Rock Auto doesn't carry either now.
