Ok so I have scheduled my first oil change visit, and I get a free computer mod when I go...
I plan on disabling the seat belt chime, and changing the signal touch feature to four blinks.
What are some of the other options I have regarding mods to the computer???
What mods have others asked for???
    Thanks

Good luck with the seat belt chime... I could see a law suite looming if they did that AND customer got killed in an accident without a seat belt.

Didn't mean to start any "conversation" just sayin is all.

They make seat belt male receptacles without a belt attached you can use instead of your actual seat belt. Check ebay....

yes I have seen those... dealer can do it for free with the software. There is still a light on the dash to warn me the belt is not attached.

I wonder also if there is a fix for stopping the door open beep so I can listen to tunes while outside the truck with the doors open...?

You can do this yourself without going to the dealer. Read the owner's manual and it tells you how to do this.

If you put the key to "On" instead of "Acc" it shouldn't beep when the door is open.

There is a list of customization features in the owners manual. That was you have a list of what you want them to do.

On my '15 they turned off the seatbelt chime, but the door alarm wasn't able to turn off. No option to do it.

Just had my first service, and they turned off the seatbelt chime, no questions (or cost). I think the door lock thing, you can do yourself.
Also, think the blinkers are a dealer thing.

If you want your seat belt chime to go away pull out your gauge cluster and on the back remove the little speaker. Problem solved for all annoying dash beeps.

yes. I read in another thread that the amount of blinks can be changed for when you just lightly press the signal indicator...I'm thinking 4 blinks is the way to go...5 is a bit much, 3 not enough, so 4 it shall be!

I meant can we do it, outside of getting the dealer to adjust it?

As I said before, I'm pretty sure the blinkers are a dealer adjustment.

Can the speedo be adjusted for bigger tire size? Mine is off a bit, not a big deal but would be good if it was accurate for mileage. I tried to do the adjustment on the head unit, didn't seem to change at all

Get the Carista free app with the $20 in app purchase and a $17.98 OBD II wifi adapter from Amazon and you can adjust all the settings, chimes, lights you want and reset them if you change your mind
