I'm not trying to make a V-8 out of my 2017 SR 2.7 4 cylinder, but I would like to get the best out of it. I had a Ford Ranger w/a 4.0l V-6, and with the help of a SuperChips Programmer, I could change the ignition advance, auto trans shift pressure, speed/rpm limits, etc. But I am fruitless at finding a plug-in programmer so far. Any ideas?

@OVTune is currently working on something for us 2.7's. That'll be your only legitimate option when the time comes, unfortunately. Unless you want to get into a piggyback ECU and tuning the truck yourself.

I am hoping someone comes out with a tune/tuner option(s). It won't make a big difference in power, put from past experience with other vehicles, it makes a noticeable difference in drivability. Throttle response is vastly improved, and with a premium fuel tune (increased spark timing/more aggressive curve), low/midrange torque gets a nice little boost as well. It could make the difference between having to downshift for a hill, or leaving it in top gear. Me want...
