Tacos are limited in where to stash a truck gun - handy - in the map pocket on the passenger seat or in the door. I dont do this in the city. I carry on myself then. This is just around my home turf.

What do you mean "truck gun"? Here in AZ, most consider a "truck gun" to be an SBR'ed AR-15, in which case its carried in the back, or on the passenger seat. I carry my Glock or Sig (depending on how I feel) tucked in between the center console, and the passenger seat. If I have a passenger, I carry it on the shifter console.

The pistol (springfield .40 emp) I had been carrying lately is too nice to jamb between the seat without the holster. It did not sit well there in the comtac holster. I will go back to my old xd. Im not as picky with it. The map pocket is a good place when you dont have a passenger and you can scoot the seat forward a little.

Why do you have to carry your gun with you all the time anyway? Is is really that dangerous where you live?

Yes. But I'd carry a pistol even if I lived in Mayberry. Why? Because it's my right to do so.

I dont really have a "truck" gun. I always have my Glock 30 IWB or Kahr PM45 on my ankle. Nothing is ever left in the truck. I am looking at one of those safes for under the seat tho. I dont really have a use for it cuz I can carry anywhere, except those damn casino's we have around here.

That bag is cool. I have a set of their glasses with three lenses and a pair of those conceal carry T shirts. You can run with a full size handgun stuffed in one of the built in holsters. The glasses feel light and do not slip when you get sweaty.
