Yep and you would have been in Jail and on trial just like GZ for starting a confrontation with an unarmed man and end up having to kill him because you don't have the strength to fight him fairly. I will give you some advice, gun owners don't need another hero to kill another protected species. Next time keep your mouth shut, get his plate number, and call the cops. If you don't think you can protect yourself without the use of a gun, don't start a fight. I appreciate the concern for the child, but it isn't worth killing someone over.

Or give B.A.C.A. a call. I think that's the name of the group. Bikers Against Child Abuse. They'll take care of it from there.

Good stuff,, Had 2 days to think it over but guess what,,, The only thing I did wrong was not pulling the trigger. Ill stand in court and tell the judge and The ONES that count,,, The Jury How it came to this..Something in Fla called stand your ground. I knew there were vids rolling and made sure I never said anything wrong.. When he turned his rage on me AND SAID HE WOULD SLAP ME & THEN STARTED FOR ME--- Dig this,, I FEARED FOR MY LIFE... 1 OR 2 SILVERBACKS ON THE JURY AND GUESS WHAT... Jim

you don’t know if he was unarmed. he could have had a knife in his pocket. you can’t say he was an unarmed man with out know if he was or not. just my $0.2

and imho the other guy started it by hitting his son in public.

I would normally agree but I think going a little too far when protecting a defenseless child is acceptable.

There's actually nothing wrong with it until some idiot got into a fight and shot a kid. People need to know that when you carry you cant get into a physical confrontation.

Jim, my only question is, if you hadn't been carrying, would you still have said something to the guy?

When this 270lb. POS slapped that lil kid in the back of the head so hard he went down screaming. I snapped,, When I started for the door the gun was not on my mind, That's y I wanted someone to call 911. Im getting a cell this week cuz my other half will have it no other way..With or without the gun I cant let something like that slide. That makes me no better then him.. Just look the other way .... I would just as soon die if it came to that,, Then let that MFer or the next one slide.. Jim

Calling the cops and reporting him and his license plate is not letting him slide, it is doing things the proper way. Just because you think he can kick your ass is no excuse to pull your gun. You are a bully in my opinion. When I have my CC piece I actually act a little less prone to aggression because the stakes are much higher. Say he was a legal CCer as well and you pulled your gun on him with intent to intimidate and he pulled his legal CC weapon and ventilated you? You would have been the victim of justifiable homicide and you would have been just another headline. Cooler heads always prevail brother and you did not have it in this instance. Glad no one got hurt but you need to think a bit clearer.

So the kid stole a piece of gum and the dad wacked him on the back of the head to teach him right from wrong... is that worth killing the guy over? I would think you pulling out a gun tramatized the kid more than the father did.

As much as I'm all for firearms and protecting yourself I draw the line when someone says based on that law they should have just killed the person for saying they were going to SLAP him and took a step towards him.

I was just curious, I wasn't there but I don't situations like that very well and probably would have been in his face also (although I don't carry).
