    Update** 11/27/16

    - Finally got my Pelfrey Built Hybrid bumper after waiting 14 weeks.
    - Replaced Uniballs with new Stainless Uniballs from Total Chaos. Had my coilovers rebuilt and my springs powder coated Blue
    - Made Plastic Liners to keep mud out of the engine compartment.
    - Bought a Softopper before it snows!

The topper is awesome, but it took longer to install since I have fiberglass bedsides. I may end up mounting the rails on a piece of drilled/ tapped aluminum instead of using the clamps. Ideally, the topper needs to be about 1/2" longer for the snaps to snap onto the channel but after having it on for the past month it is easier to snap the side snaps. I did a Mojave road trip with some buddies and there is just as much dust in the bed compared to if I didn't have the topper on. I am not sure if all the dust came through the holes for my bypasses or if they got sucked through the seams from the topper flexing and pulling in air. Ill post some pics.

My main reason for getting the topper was to keep snow out of the bed in the winter (works great for that). If you don't have to worry about snow/ rain, I wouldn't bother with one!

Well, I get snow, and I get rain. So I'm torn between the two

You can also do a bed rack, and then find a local canvas shop to make it somewhat water/ dust resistant. If I ever build my bed rack and get a RTT I will get a local company to make some canvas sides for all the corners!

Not a bad idea! I could probably do that myself actually. Those RTT are expensive man!

I see tons of new truck builds. With the amount of money spent on RTT's, Fridges, Drawers, and Recovery Gear they could nearly LT the entire vehicle!

I didn't really post it. I mentioned it in a comment a while back that I was going to get rid of it when I got my new bumper. Well 14 wks later the new bumper came, and I contacted the person who was initially interested in it. lol Dont feel bad!

Haha. Is pelfreybilt's build time really that far out? I've been considering getting one of theirs or CBI but don't have the patience to wait 14 weeks!

It was originally 8-10wks but then they decided to move into a larger facility during my build. I think the norm is 6-8wks. The customer service is awesome!

Great build! What's your opinion on the Toyo's? Any issues thus far?
