Concerned about possible new 2017 SR5 V6 purchase

Bought my 2016 SR5 new and just passed 22k on it and the only issues were the tranny tsb and reared recall which were taken care of, but Most vehicles have some recall or other, other than that, it runs Great.

 

CU wants a cushy soft ride. That's why they love the Honda.

 

Well after 11 years and 205K miles together, me and my Gen 2 reluctantly parted ways after we hit a deer.

Frankly I knew he was getting tired of doing all I asked of him over the years. He plowed snow, hauled dirt and pulled trailers that exceeded his own weight without so much as a wimper.

I just retired the old boy last week and sadly miss him.

His replacement is a little girl..... certainly no better looking, but she offers a much nicer ride and a few other comforts, but will never see the duty of Ol' #3. She just ain't built for it and incapable of delivering.

 

just my 2-cents on this......my Lexus GS350 is 10 years old and has never had one issue......

 

He wasn’t talking anecdotal experiences.
