Curious about some of the options.
I like the access cab 6' bed on the newer models. (currently have a 93 22re) I also like driving the manual. However, I do want my wife to have the ability to drive a new pickup if necessary.
Based on the smattering of AI generated article I have read, It would seem that the only access cab options are going to be on the sr and sr5? Also, it looks like the hybrid option will only be available on the trd+ models. Does anyone have a better source for information, or the knowledge to confirm or deny this?
Is my only option for a 6' bed and a hybrid engine going to be a 6' bed 4 door trd+ model? Is there even going to be a 4 door 6' bed option?
Hard to know what to believe at this point. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

To clarify there will be no more Access Cab (rear hinged doors). Only extra cab, so think 1990's trucks without a door that everyone always say they wanted to have, well now you have it again! (But people here still cry because internet!).

Toyota is being uber shitty with their US release info, there is some info on Canadian order trucks on spec availability but it isn't all encompassing. I cannot confirm that a hybrid is only available on a DC configuration, but it wouldn't surprise any of us. There is confirmation of a Double Cab 6' bed so you've got that.

yea getting frustrated not having the configurations and options for the U.S. I need a new truck due to wrecking mine but I am holding out to see the options for the off-road and pro. I hate the seats in the pro that I hope will be optional but want to know if I can upgrade the off-road to match pro at lesser point. This waiting game is driving me crazy

Thanks Hogleg, not exactly sure how to respond to a post but I appreciate it. I didn't realize the change in the "access" cab... news to me. That change doesn't bother me at all, but like you said i'm sure there will be a big stink about it. I feel a little better There will be a 6' bed option and its probably a safe assumption it will be be available in most or all of the trd trims.
Do I need an offroad model? probably not, I certainly will not need the PRO seats. However, I sure would enjoy feeling overly equipped and capable going up and down a steep, cliffside, washed out canyon access road (deschutes, eastern Oregon).
Agreed, the waiting game is crazy. I have been eyeing the Tacoma models for years, but for some reason I have never pulled the trigger. Marriage perhaps plays a part, but the old 22re p/u however underpowered it is has always got me home.

If you want a 4-door, 6-foot bed and Hybrid, looks like that combination is only available on the TrailHunter.
