hell, even looking at a base bare bones 2024 GX 550 starts at $64K, this or a PRO or TrailHunter would be a tough call.

Tundra was updated first … it’s quite a bit nicer than the prior gen.

Yea but that's not the point, read the thread. And 1794 2.5 gen tundras were in the mid to high 50s toward the end of their run on 2021.

No, they weren't. Toyota wasn't having trouble selling them like the new gen. Stop pulling info out of your ass. You do it in other threads too. If you don't know, don't make shit up.

Pre Covid, I negotiated ~$5600 off MSRP on my 1794 - not including the rebate, so that 10% figure sounds about right as a baseline.

With limited supply of trucks, I'm not sure that is still realistic, but it does give you some indication of where the dealer cost actually is. I'm actually surprised that Toyota is still offering rebates and special finance deals when dealer lots are pretty empty.

ell, the good news is that the deals are still out there if you are willing to look, then maybe drive! Toyota.com does not make it easy to find the vehicle you are looking for....not like GM or Ford.

Here WAS my deal (notice "Was"):

SR5..Calvary, cloth with TRD SPort & TRD Convenience + some "Distributor Installed" stuff

    $49,066 Sticker (no dealer adds)
    -3,000 Rebate
    -4,566 Discount
    $41,500 Sales Price
    -31,000 Trade
    ????? Other stuff
$10,500 Out the Door **Before tax & registration. It's out-of-state**

I also got an equivalent offer on a Limited from another out-of-market dealer, I think it was $13,500 net out-the-door.

Both of these were out of market (DFW), I was driving 3-4 hours to get these.

While I was deciding between a loaded SR5 and a Limited, another deal kinda fell in my lap:

Cutter Ford in Aiea, Hawaii. Something tells me the dealer won't actually sell this for $61k. cars.com says $61k, dealer website says "please call"

I’m hoping sales come crashing to a halt. They have to offer some steep discounts along with competitors, just to move some inventory. Then also hoping for a few political stars to align and interests rate drop again. Then I’ll be a player at the table. If not I’ll sit things out for a bit.

God damn. When this truck was first announced, I knew I'd want an OR Hybrid w/ Premium PKG. The non-hybrid I built out is already $55k. When hybrids are released next year, I'm guessing $58k-$60k? I can't even imagine what the Trailhunter is going to cost. $65k + $15k+ ADM?

I’ll wait few years for 4gen, won’t doubt some of those premium packages will be standard on the later 4gen models

I recall the guesstimate price thread, where some were being called crazy for saying $60k for Pro & Trailhunter. It IS now looking like $65k + ADM, which is insane. I just can’t imagine too many paying those prices. I know I sure won’t.
