Keep in mind, not all available combinations are always available in the online configurator. It has historically only shown available stock. And it only shows stuff in your region. It might be operating differently right now due to product launch.

The 2024 Tacoma ebrochure should be published soon which should show everything. However, since this is a phased launch they might hold back info for the Pro and Trailhunter.

This is such a weird year.

I want the ventilated seats and softex, but honestly this might just be the move.

Maybe even Toyota is scared to show those numbers. I'll probably gasp/chuckle when the price of the TRD Pro drops even though I'd love to have one.

Buy a 2023 while you can tbh, can get some off msrp and a solid tested truck. As long as you don't care too much for features. Mpg is gonna suck with any box on wheels going down the road.

I get it, but I'm not the only one disappointed in efficiency which is exceeded by larger 1/2 tons and is not even class leading for the midsize segment. Not to mention charging $8 to 12K more than the competition for a similar build.

I'm sure they will still sell a ton of them. But not everyone needs to pull 6500 pounds and for most will be a mall crawler and never touch dirt. My coworker has a TRD Pro and hasn't even turned on the 4x4 once. Since they refuse to put efficient engines in these trucks and are obsessed with payload the only hope is a smaller unibody truck that'd probably be more than adequate for 95% of people on the road, to make stomaching $5+ gallon gas... everyone says go buy a SUV well that doesn't work for me.

This a pointless rant, but it gets old seeing the same old same old. The maverick is the only truck that makes any sense to me but ford hasn't exactly been a shining star of reliability and I can only hope Toyota invests in this space

Priced out a 4th gen as close as I could to my 3rd gen and I'll be keeping my 3rd gen Tacoma for awhile - I still like it better than the 4th gen (looks wise).

Oof, looks like I'm buying that 10 year Toyota warranty on my 2021. Inflation is cancer.

80+ month car loans are going to be the norm by 2030. TRD Pro and the trailhunter prices are going to be absolutely laughable.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
I did the same. $5k over my ‘22 truck’s MSRP. $7k over for how I would want a 4th gen to be spec’d out.

Any body else feel that the accessory page makes you feel like you were browsing a Cabela's and 4WP catalog? More fridges, tire inflator/deflators, and general junk to inflate Toyota's bottom line some more...like these trucks weren't expensive enough!

The question is will Toyota actually make any in that configuration to buy? My guess is they will always throw 2 or 3 of those annoying little packages on them. Hard to stomach when my ‘17 OR was $31,700 (with 0.9% interest mind you) with some features this ‘24 doesn’t even have for $42k+ base price. My ‘22 Bronco was $40,500 with more features than the ‘23 OR has too. I get inflation but unfortunately inflation doesn’t also apply to my paycheck lol

My company tells me they are investing in me, but that doesn't mean a raise for some reason?

That’s what pizza parties are for.

Good point. If I could actually order a $45k TRD OR with just those 2 options, I'd consider upgrading next year but that's a no go with the allocation process. Also, the selection of colors is disappointing - I miss Army Green, Cement and Lunar Rock.

I finally got colors to show up, couldn't get any to load yesterday. Solar Octane, Underground, and Bronze Oxide all look tasty.

yea it sucks. I need a vehicle bad and waiting to see what the TRD Pro options are with the seats as I rather have normal seats then the iso dynamic. As I like the Pro look better. But its hard to evaluate with chevrolet having overstocked trucks and are letting full size trucks mid grade go at almost same price as the Off-road with a few packages.

Can I just also say the configurator does not do underground, or terra any justice on the color. It legit makes the terra look brown and underground almost looks black. I am surprised though the black pops up on the trail hunter so I am guessing trail hunter only option are the bronze and black?
