Somebody want to tell me why I can't get a moon roof and fancy seats at the same time? Am I missing something?

Define "fancy seats"? We can only build non TRD Pro Trail Hunters currently, so if you're referring to Iso seats?

It's been my experience that the only way to get an accurate feeling for the color is to see it in person. Even then you need to make sure you see it in different lighting conditions like full sun, shade, etc.

I was thinking about upgrading to a new SR Xtracab, but now I'm leaning toward getting the 10/125 warranty and riding this thing out for awhile.

Nah the $35.4k Colorado WT is a double cab, the AC Tacoma for $36.8k is not.

12k more over 7 years for a much more advanced truck seems right in line with price increases for most other vehicles. What other vehicles can you buy for anywhere near its price from 7 years earlier?

You know the price of something is fucked when people start busting out the inflation calculator.

6k more for 1 year difference seems nuts.

Well people keep comparing what they paid 3 or 4 years ago to current prices and do not understand that the dollar is worth less.

1 year difference in this case equals a totally redesigned truck with all new tech.

6k is still a pretty big price hike imo.

Let's hope these new Tacoma's don't have the same teething issues the new gen tundra's have.

I am sure they will but we should all have faith in Toyota to address any issues.

I just built both of these and comparing bone stock 4x4 TRD Sport Automatic 5 foot bed double cabs looks like this (including dest.):

    2023: $41,225
    2024: $44,095

At least I think that's correct - there are so many configurations it is hard to compare so I might have screwed up.

$2,870 difference seems about right to me from an old model to a new model. And the first drive reviews all remark on just how much better the Tacoma drives and how much better the interior tech performs.
