Confused about OEM fog lights on 2021 TRD Sport

Here we go!

I went through the side pulling back the plastic underside of wheel-well:

I didn't have to turn the bulb housing unit. The owner's manual said to disconnect the terminal first.


So I put it back to the original position and disconnected it.


Removed the bulb itself.



This was the right side...did my initial learning on that side. Twisted the diode housing in...it took some light turning but nothing too harsh.





Zip-tie over the top and to the side:



Looks Good!

I'll test them out tonight but by the looks of it, I can already see a huge difference.

Anyone know if the oem LED fogs for the TRD Sport and OR are plug and play if my truck has the halogen fogs? And does anyone have any output/beam pattern comparisons between the halogens and non-Pro LED fogs?

 

Yes, it’s plug and play.

 

Glad I found this as this is exactly what I’m dealing with after hitting flying depressed on the highway which destroyed my front lower spoiler that the fog lights are housed in and the drivers side fog light.
