The sandy one should be no problem, the one with loose rocks looks pretty crazy. I think the guys that posted above are going to the spot near ct/ri border. I am planning on getting some guys together to go to the chester spot, where the pictures are from, probably on the 19th next month.

id rather play on the rocks honestly....you would be surprised what tacomas can climb when navigated properly ....picking good lines is key....that putnam ct tractor supply is 2.5hrs from me so im not sure if ill actually make it for just a few hours on some easy trails is alot of driving (5hrs)...but we shall see

Easy? You can get in a bunch of hard spots if you navigate towards them. Trust me. I ride a bike out there and there's some trick shit. Of corse the bike goes right up it

We can do chester CT on the 19th. I dont know how it would go if we have alot of guys there, a few of the trails are dead ends so its hard to turn around with more than 3 trucks probably. The one trail that erick and i found would be doable. It opens up at the end and there is a area with criss crossing trails and a few gnarly hill climbs.

I would be in for this. My truck is almost stock though (for now) and that might be a little problem, that just depends on where we end up going.
I'd like to get into off roading, so this may be a good start.

Would you be coming down from vt? I know of a few stock friendly spots in the ludlow area. There is tons of stuff up there. Stock shouldnt be a problem for the trails here in ct that i am talking about.

I would come down from southern VT. I don't know any spots around here, I'm sure they exist. do they vary from stock to full build?

My truck is mostly stock and I didnt have any problems out Thursday with Evan. The only off road upgrade on my truck is that the previous owner put 265/70/17 instead of 265/65/17 which does give just shy of a 1" lift I think, but they arent at all heavy duty off road tires.

Like I've heard many times on this website and finally experienced first hand myself... "youd be amazed what a Tacoma can clear if you just pick the right line."

For vt offroading i am sure there is alot of stuff, even some class 4 roads can be pretty tough for a stock truck. And there is probably some crazy stuff up there for built rigs. If you want to know about the spots i have been in central vt PM me. I can also ask my buddy also who has a house near mt. Snow and does some wheeling around there. But ya if you wanna make the drive down to do some wheeling thats cool. I will try to get it organized soon and start a list and give everyone details on the time/place.

Are all the trails that mild? If so I may be able to make it down, one of my cvs is about to blow and don't want to beat it to bad. I'm used to lots of rocks and climbs but if it's all easy trails I may be down. Don't have much money so don't want to break anything....looks like some good exploring and would be good to meet some of you.
