This is an exact fit for my 2016 Taco TRD Sport!! I ordered the blue USB-C and it looks amazing!! Had to wire it into the cigarette adaptor and I disconnected the QI switch because I think it’s absolutely junk and worthless. The illumination light above the charging pad still works so that’s a plus. The blue hue light gives the console a nice subtle glow!! I had to reorder it because my dumb arse shorted out the first one trying to connect it. I have ran an Apple 15 Pro Max and a 12 Pro Max flawlessly so far. I definitely recommend it!!! Good luck bro!!!

I think prior people were saying not to mess with it because of car play but I think it started in 2021 so it should be a non issue for you. The USB in that area for my 2021 connects to car play and doesn't have the aux plug. It also has a USBC and regular USB in the center console

Yeah my 2016 doesn’t have car play which unfortunate but the add on works. I’m looking to upgrade my JBL system with the subwoofer which sounds amazing to the Alpine 11” head unit with car play. The reviews and videos I’ve watched are pretty spot on to what I’m looking for and probably yourself. I just ain’t bit the bullet yet. But I will. My next purchase will be the N2 design remote start without the app add on. Gonna see how it works this winter and if I think it’s worth it I’ll add on the app. I just can’t justify and spending the extra cash flow for a “membership” for it. Give me 6 months and I may change my mind. ‍♂️ And then I’m gonna have my hood wrapped with matte vinyl because I’m having some fading around my hood scoop. and not to mention the glare is blinding!!!your thoughts??

Does your vehicle not already have remote start. If I click my lock button 3 times and long person on the third, it will turn on. The engine cuts off when you open the door though. I forgot who makes it, but there's an aftermarket remote start that keeps the engine on when you open the door
