Connecting fog lights with low beams?

Hello, I have a 2020 SR so I don’t have fog lights. I saw the walkthrough thread on how to add them but I figured I go this route instead.

anybody know how to connect fog lights directly to the existing wire of the low beam so that they turn on and off at the same time.

Does wire color matter when splicing and connecting them together?

Thats a bad idea. The existing wiring/circuit for the low beam is designed to power the low beams only. Fog lights draw a lot of power and need to be on their own circuit.

 

Aren’t the sr models prewired already for dogs?

Also, running fog lights all the time isn’t what they are designed for. I would check your local laws to make sure it’s legal to run your fog lights all the time.
