Connecting rods 4340 Chromoly 2GR and 2TR

Swindon/Arrow Precision connecting rods. These were produced for the supercharged Lotus cars w/ 420hp 2GR-FE engines. Retail was $1600. Should fit all 2GR 6 cylinder and 2TR 4 cynlinder engines. Specs available upon request.

$699 for a set of 6 or $466 for a set of 4 + shipping.

 

Have you had the opportunity to weigh them? Curious how closely matched you can get a set of 6.

 

Swindon says they are balanced end to end within 1 gram. I'm not set up up to measure end to end, but did run six rods over my gram scale for full weight. The scale doesn't read 1/10ths, but will flicker if right on the line in either direction, it gave a solid 600 on the six I ran. There are 90 rods sitting here, I'm happy to pick up a better scale and put them in sets if you think it's worth it.
