Hello there. I need some advice. First time Tacoma owner. I recently took my stock 2011 2wd TRD sport and put on some Bfgoodrich 265/70r17s. I'm getting a bit of rubbing on extreme turning. I'm thinking about putting some BilsteinTaco 1.jpg 5100 adjustables up front at 2 inches to get rid of the rubbing. My question is will that do the trick? and will i have to worry about putting excess stresses on my front end. I'm trying to keep the front-end geometry as stock as possible

I don't have a definite answer for you question, but from what I understand any additional lift isn't going to solve rubbing issues. I have a 2.5 inch lift kit and had the same size tires and still rubbed at first.

I would first start by identifying what is rubbing and where exactly if you haven't done so already. I had a buddy turn my wheel full lock to find any rubbing after installing 35's and it helped a lot.
I had the same size tires as you before going up and had the same issue. The solution for me was to undo one of the clips for fender liner at the very bottom near the cab and zip tie it further back (for 265/70r).
You shouldn't need to touch the pinch weld at all for this size tire you're running, but incase you want to mess with it the general consensus is to hammer the weld outward and flat for better clearance.
Hopefully this is enough to set you off in the right direction. Good luck and welcome to TW!

All you need to know below for cmc and the pinch weld:

Terrible advice. That tire size is barely bigger than stock.

Probably rubbing on mud flaps or some other tiny piece of plastic. 2” lift will fix it.

Will that 2in lift affect other parts of the suspension. The CV joints, the UCA's will I need a differential drop kit????. Am I better off leaving it as is . just a little rubbing??

There are a few things that can be affected when changing your suspension geometry. That said, they're easily mitigated if you do your research and prepare to take corrective action.

    - Since you have a Prerunner (2WD), you don't have to worry about CV axles or front differential problems since you don't have any of those components.
    - I don't think your driveline angles will change much if you're only lifting the front, so driveline vibrations likely aren't a huge concern either. It isn't a bad idea to take driveline angle measurements before lift, then comparing to your post-lift angles to ensure that everything is within specs:

    - I highly recommend checking your lower control arm adjusting cams/bolts to ensure that they aren't seized. You'll need these working in order to dial in your alignment after getting the lift installed.

I'm thinking the issue is the aftermarket wheels. That tire size fits without any issues on factory wheels. With as little rubbing as you're getting I'd leave it as is and drive it.

2wd, no front diff, no front axles or cv joints. As stated above, the wheel offset has you, the middle of the tire is further out from the vehicle, so when you turn the scrub radius is larger, running your tires into the fenders and wheel wells.
