As much as I love my Tacoma, we have one more (last) child on the way and there is no way to fit 6 of us in the cab. I'd love to stick with a Toyota full size, and I like the 1st Gen Tundras more than the 2nd Gen. My question is, was a front bench seat available in a double cab tundra?

Some of the double cabs did come with a bench seat in the SR5 trim. It's a bit tough to find, but is out there. I only have 2 kids, but we fit a booster and newborn carseat and adult in the back no problem at all. It's not too cramped, which is why I went with the 06 DC Tundra over a Tacoma (well also the crazy Tacoma prices). I've also heard of guys swapping the bucket seats for a bench.

Edit: Here is one that was local to me, so they are out there. http://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/5762043133.html
