Considering a 01-04 double cab. Thoughts?

    How the heck did you steal an 04 DCSB 4WD TRD with only 144K from a dealer for only $10,500? I presume it was rust free, or at least the frame was? Dang. Nice acquisition, sir. Where abouts are you in Colorado? I'm on the south side of Denver.

    ETA:
    Ohhh... from your build thread... rust. BUT... you did your homework... and you're able to get it fixed under the 15 year extended frame rust warranty! Good on ya!

    @steve2267 i started my search knowing exactly what I needed to look for. Being a Toyota tech I only researched 2004 double cabs that were still covered under the warranty extension, if it was out of coverage I didn’t even bother looking at it. I searched nationwide and the one I bought was the lowest mileage one I found in my price range. And to answer your Colorado question I’m in Erie.

    remember that the design was from 1996-97 when car seats weren't 3 ft long and had padding equivalent to race cars. simpler child seats back then. but they also implemented the LATCH in the front seat (01+?) due to the increasing size of the child seats.
