Considering a 2010 4x2 and selling my 2001... what to consider?

    Hi everyone -
    I currently have a 2001 4x2 (no frills w/auto trans/2.4 4cyl) Taco (138k).
Considering a 2010 4x2 (not sure of all the extras but also auto trans/2.7 4cyl & access cab) Taco (24k)

I'm not a mechanic and my trusted mechanic retired.
My 2001 has no frills (I roll up the windows, use a key and no cruise) but to me the lack of these frills and computors are a positive for maintenance. The only possible issue with my current truck is the last couple years it feels a lil "bump" when shifting from N to R or D.

The 2010 appeals to me with the low miles and access cab (cruise would be nice to have).

So I am seeking your opinions of the 2010 and what issues or additional maintenance might arise please. (any other thoughts are very welcome and appreciated)

Back in 2003, when I bought the 2001, I also had the help/opinion of a long time friend who was a Toyota Service Manager... but he also has retired. So, this time around is a lil scarey without my trusted resources...

Thank you very much in advance... Oh, I do plan on taking the 2010 to the dealer for prepurchase review and will get it's Carfax.
