i like V8's too (my current DD has a 5.7L LS1 engine), ...but there are some good V6's out there, especially today.. look at Ford's ecoboost popularity all of a sudden, for example (that's a V6 i believe)... when you say "nissan" are your talking about the frontier, titan, . not sure exactly what you are comparing?..

It's not about going fast. It's about getting out of its own way. If I pull into traffic on a 40mph road, for example, I want to be going 40 damn quick. I want to beat the 18 wheeler coming the other way at the light when I want to make a left. I want to jump from 45 to 60/70 to pass quickly even going up a goddamn hill. That's particularly where I've seen V6s fail miserably. There be a lot of hills around here.

1.the power of the tacoma V6 is awesome for a truck its sized and to be honest i ran it against my dads rental f150 xlt and smoked it.
    2. if leather isnt a manufacturer option then it will be a dealer option and if not then find you a new dealer.
    3. Double Cabs Rule!!

p.s. if your worried about going in and out of traffic then the V6 in the tacoma is plenty good. way better then fords/chevys/dodges V6. its quick off the line if your trying to beat another car to 40, its quick from 40-60 for getting up to highway speeds, and its fast from 70-80 for passing and such. i've always wanted a tundra but since driving the tacoma for the past 8 months i wouldn't mind spending money to buy a new tacoma just because they're that awesome

Not trying to be rude, but I've never seen a guy obsess and complain so much about the interior of a truck!? You want frills go for a Ferrari, you want quality the Tacoma has that.

You seem more concerned with how the interior looks then the reliability. So
Why don't you go to every lot and find the truck with the nicest interior and buy it, instead of coming here and bashing Tacomas, which most on here are fans of (Tacoma world).

    Just my two cents

I considered a trike, but I need something I can ride in the winter. If 4-wheelers were street legal, then I might be thinking different. ;)

As it stands, I'm really leaning toward the FJ Cruiser TTSE (preferably 2011).

why not look at the tacoma V6, and get the supercharger for it - i'd presume it would be pretty quick!

Hey Viper187.....Didn't you know that if you ask the dealership nicely they'll swap the FJ interior in the new Tacoma?

Seriously, it's their new incentive for qualified whiners!

4 Wheelers are legal on the streets here, not in the big towns but all the small rural farming areas. I ride my dads to and from work a lot during the summer and save a ton on gas, next summer thought it will be my Husaberg FE 600 however since I got my endorsement now finally

yeah idk why they are not legal in more states, they are not much louder than the average Harley and get decent mileage too if you dont rod the piss out of them.

Go get the f150 then? Your telling a bunch of tacoma people how shitty the interior is, bad idea.
