The AP kit is a +2 kit that only has provisions for a coilover. I'm getting my camburg kit installed next week with dual shocks, TC or Camburg, they are both tried and true, so you can't go wrong with either. But Camburg only has a +3.5" kit while TC has a +2" and a +3.5" kit, all of which can run dual shocks. TC also has a stock length race kit that can run dual shocks if you're worried about width.

 

How much did the Camburg kit run you in total? Including shocks

 

uhhhhh, well I ended up swooping up on a deal for a brand new kit local, but a new Camburg Kit plus secondary mounts with 4x4 axles will probably run you around $3500 if You can find a deal? Maybe cheaper? Maybe More? And then shocks are all up to you, what brand, where you get them. I think I ended up paying about $2500 or so for coilovers and bypasses?

 

Do not et the all pro kit. Many issues. Go camburg

Thats off the top of my head. 2.5 8" coilovers and 2.5 8" triple bypasses. Should come out around $2500

 

Can you fit bump stops on a 4X4?

 

You possibly could. Alot of guys go with a coilover and a bump. Camburg recommends one or the other because its alot of shit to fit in there and with your CV axle there its hard to fit. I've been told where theres a will theres a way, but I think most peolpe just use one of the bypass tubes as a bump zone. Im still learning all of this myself so I'm no where near the expert on the matter.

 

Wouldnt that damage the bypass shock?

 

Don't quote me on this, but the way O understand it is that you are making one of the compression tubes act as a bump by increasing the compression for that tube. Not a perfect bump, but if you blow through it all, you're valving is off anyways and/or you are hitting stuff way harder than you arw capable of. And then my Superbumps can handle the rest.

I have bypass bump coilovers and 4wd

 

1st gens can do it. 2nd gens can not. Well, like I said, Camburg doesn't recommend it.

 

Maaaaaaaybe right there, but it seems pretty cramped right there.

Yeah we'll see how I like it with Superbumps lol. I think once it's tuned right, I won't need bumps that much unless I'm hucking all the time
