In my opinion I would save my money...

Not sure why I would have to buy a sticker to remind people what kind of truck I drive.

But, if you like it then go for it!

I'm loving the responses thus far.... broached the topic with my wife again tonight. Her response was "it makes it look like an old truck." My rebuttal "that's the point, I love the retro look and those Toyota Trucks in the 80's are what made me fall in love with the Toyota trucks." Her follow up was "well sell your truck and buy you one from the 80's".

So long story short, I'm now I'm on the market for a mid 80's Toyota.....

And I would be all about putting a horse blanket seat cover on that bench seat too.

BTW OP, you don't put TACOMA on the door, you put TOYOTA on the tailgate for the retro look

I'd give my left nut for any of those trucks. Hell, make it the right nut, it's been pissing me off lately anyway.

I had a 78. I remember it had "Isuzu" stamped right on the engine. Fun little 4 speed. Blew it up in north dakota, tried to dump in some 10w40 when it was about 30 below zero.

My first clue should have been when it took 10 minutes for the quart of oil to empty...I was 18, didn't know shit.

I had an '82 SR5 back in the day. A grey one. Got it right after I graduated high school. Fun truck.

Also, I never had them on my '82, but I did go thru a couple sets of Yokohama Super Diggers on my '89 pickup and '91 4Runner. Awesome tire.

Hurricane is coming in 3 days, we'll see how much money I'll have left if my insurance suddenly has to pay for the roof.
