You just need louder tires... LOL! The ones that came on mine (used) are so loud that I believe that is why the previous owner had blown out the speakers.

No, don't even consider a 4,cylinder. No one regrets getting the six. In trucks, you need some power. The 4 cylinder is gutless and unless you go off road a lot where it shines or have 100 per cent city traffic, stay away from the four. I would get a used six before a new four.

As old as this thread is (2015) he's likely made a decision by now.

    If I had the money I'd get a 2.7 with the 5MT.

I test drove the 4 cylinder and was disappointed by the acceleration. Ended up with a SR v6 and i'm very pleased with the truck.

I bought the 4cyl DC for the reliability and gas milage. These engines are already known to go over 200k easy and have proven that for 12 years i believe! I guarantee you not one guy with the 6cyl can get the same or better than a 4cyl no matter what the sticker says, I can get 25+ mpg all day and almost 28mpg when i go 65mph on my daily 50mi commute. I dont regret my purchase one bit. I would pick the 4cyl over the 6cyl any day! It works for me.

The 2.7 is Sooooo good that there is really no reason to offer the V6....

Except for those who would otherwise buy a Ridgeline.
