    mine is broke...probably a warranty issue but I'd rather just buy it and replace myself instead of the hassle of the dealership.

    anyone know the part number? and a good place to order one.

    I have the tan/beige interior.

    I think you are going to be unpleasantly surprised--Toyota does not sell the latch separately. You have to buy the console assembly. Warranty is the way to go. If you still qualify, you can purchase the 7 year 100.000 mile Toyota Platinum for around $600 bucks.

    and already working 6-7 days a week on the new place.

    plus I have 2 dealership options:
    a) 20 miles away, real douchebags
    b) 50 miles away, good dealership (where I bought the truck)

    seeing how it's probably a 10-20 dollar part, if I can order it and have it dropped at my door...I'm good with that.

    truck is still under warranty, two years old- 25K miles.

    looks like I'm off to the dealer. :(
