My center console started squeaking when a passenger is riding with me. Has anyone else had this prob.? Is it just a WD-40 fix?

yea, the armrest. It sounds like it's coming from the black bar that attaches the lid to the lower console.

When your passenger sits in the truck do they seem to shift their weight to the left and either lean into the center con. Have you tried adjusting the seat forwards or back to see if it stops? Could it be possible the seat belt buckle rubs on the center con ???
