Oh for sure, you can do the same at home if you keep lights on in the chicken coop when it's dark, but I think that's kind of unhealthy for the birds and wouldn't consider doing it.

I was referring to the residential chicken owners who didn't seem to know that their backyard flocks typically slow down or stop laying on a seasonal basis, and when coupled with an industrial egg shortage (due to culling of mega-flocks to prevent influenza spread) around the same time, conspiracies abounded. People are just unwilling to research anything that doesn't support their pre-formulated opinion.

I heard that everyday on the broadcasting, and I got confused

 

I belong to a FB group called Dysfunctional Veterans. They put out a thing where you could put $5 in and send a bag of dicks candy to anywhere you wanted. So many vets sent them to congress and political offices that they put out a deal where you put in your $5 and they got enough money to send them to every sitting member of congress. It was awesome. They even managed to get photos of them opening the boxes up, looking at the bag of dicks then realizing they were, in fact.......a bag of dicks. It made the news. Here is one of the articles.
