I've done nothing, but I've got a fiberglass shell and a few totes in the back.... Should be about 300. I've done nothing. Don't seem to have issues.

I put Helwig EZ550 set to keep the rear at the original height after I put a Leer cap on.

    Sumosprings here. No real negatives.

On my old Tacoma, I had a Leer cap. After 8-9 years, the spring began to sag pretty bad. For the first few years, it seemed to be ok. But I wasn't carrying anything heavy back there, either. If I were to get another cap, I would get some helper springs.

Can you show a picture of the 550s installed? Hellwig states that interference with the leaf keeper is likely and ultimately doesn't recommend it. Curious to see your install.

Firestone ride rites on mine. I have a roof top tent and bed bars that are about 200lbs. I have had 750lbs of shingles in the bed and couldn’t tell it was there with the air bags pumped up to about 30psi

I have a constant load of roughly 500lbs give or take. I've got wood storage drawers and a hard shell cap. I added bed stiffeners and sumosprings to alleviate the weight. Seems to be working out well!

Im with this guy and his cute puppy. I have a Leer 100XR, full drawer system and a prinsu rack. Sumo Springs do the trick for now. I'll do a full leaf pack this year when I lift.

Sitting level with all of the above plus a RTIC 65 stuffed to the brim + other camping gear.

sumosprings take roughly 10 mins to do on each side.

take off the tires, loosen the ubolt's remove oem bump stop and put in sumosprings. tighten ubolts and bolt the tires and you're good. sumosprings are sort of a composite foam material, they don't require any air.

I am considering Sumos but i have not pulled the trigger yet. Previous trucks I always ran air bags... I haven't found much feedback on the 612s yet. Here is what Sumo said regarding 610 vs 612 on the 3rd gen.

I have also read all the past threads and posts on these Sumo's and have decided to still go with and order the larger (610-40) springs.
