    None needed.
Anyone who takes advice about trucks from a person like this- a bow tie wearing, wimp, dingle berry, pixie dust, ferry deserves what they get. How many times do I have to hear some want-to-be pundit say "It rides like a truck"; hey dumb-dumb, IT IS A TRUCK! That is exactly why these are the best 'trucks' you can buy. Every other maker has folded to media pressure to build a kinder gentler pick-up. People in the media, like this clown, get pissed when there opinion is not heeded, like a bunch of college PC police. Toyota is the Donald Trump of trucks- they do what others think, not what some flat ass society reporter wants for his partner.

I'm not gonna read through all the pages of petty bickering, but I'll just say something that others I'm sure have stated: CR is NOT the place to go if you're looking for a TRUCK that is a capable truck... or anything that involves a hint of off road capability for that matter. Everyone knows this.

    carry on.

Yeah. The only two dealers I've ever been too that showed me a CR article were a Dodge and Mazda dealer. The Mazda guys literally threw it on the table in front of us as soon as we mentioned the Mazda 3. Too bad they took over an hour to get a test drive car ready and tried to sell us a car we didn't want for more than MSRP with an insulting offer on the trade.

The Dodge people were pointing out the Ram... to which I pointed out that I do some work in operations for my company and they should put the review away because you can't say Ram and acceptable reliability in the same sentence without snickering a bit.

Any dealer that tries to sell you on CR is doing so because the car is weak on the test drive and the magazine article is all they have. I'd rather be sold on the test drive, reputation, and actual features of the vehicle FOR MY PURPOSES, not some dying magazine writers purposes. The reliability I can find out for myself quickly through work, friends, and family.

So we should build a wall around 2016 owners and then put all other truck buyers in a national database?

True but unfortunately that's not the only issue they had with it.....
