So I currently sit in an 07 PreRunner Access Cab (2.4L I4) and am kicking myself in the ass for not going DCLB 4x4 from the get. I've got a loan out on the 07 but desperately want more space and power up hills, just ran cross country and back and my dogs looked miserable, throw a 10 year old in the mix and there just isn't enough room, a dealer about 3 hours away has a DCLB with 140k miles for $15000 but it's missing a tailgate. I'll probably be going in 2500-3500 upside down on my truck, so at the end of the day is 18,000ish a good price for an 08 DCLB? Thanks!

In my opinion, 15K is a little on the cheap side for a dealer asking price, for that truck. I wonder what's wrong with it besides the missing tailgate. Most dealers would start out at $20K+. I would ask a lot of questions before I make a 3 hour drive. Where did it come from? Another state?

I would find someone on here that is local to that truck to go give it a once over before making that drive.

Any deal that sounds too good probably isn't.

18k is high kbb, perfect condition requiring no repairs or cosmetic fixes, your total price price seems high. So if you want to overpay for the product you are buying to upgrade i guess thats up to you.

I think 15 is too much for a'08 with that many miles , plus add on your current loan. I got my '07 AC TRD off road with 80,541 miles on it for $13,700 . Just my opinion but I think it's way too much
