Contest: longest ever wait for a special order Tacoma

Ordered a 2018 TRD Pro with accessories around June. Got delivered in September with no accessories. The fault was on their end, they were nice enough to install the accessories for free and I was able to take home the OEM/original parts and sell them.
"What accessories?" Is what they said

 

What kind of accessories? Accessories are usually Port or Dealer Installed and not done at the Factory

 

Maybe accessories wasn't the word. I ordered TRD exhaust, TRD cold air intake, go pro bed slider mount, bed net/seperator. I think I had another thing which I can't remember but they added the floor mats and the door sills which I originally didn't want or order but I'm happy to have them

 

That sounds about right, those would all be accessories that would be installed at the Port or Dealer.

 

5 months.....ordered my DCLB Sport 4x4 with premium tech package in early April of 17 and picked it up in the middle of September 17.

 

Just got a random email from the dealer. They talked to their Toyota rep and were told "not sure, but I'm guessing production will happen in May." Looking like I'm going to be in the 6+ month club.

 

Ordered a 2019 TRD Off-Road, tech package, Predator package, and a few minor things. Was told 8-10 weeks, now on week 15...let’s see how long this takes.

 

I waited 3 years for the order I put in with my CFO on my 2016 rig.... WINNER!
