    2.5 hours down

And for those of you getting all exact...I'm not being that exact...I'm just estimating as I go

For example...I started this afternoon at 1...worked till 2 with short breaks to cool down the grinder and wipe down the dust...then started back at 10:30 pm and worked until midnight roughly with small breaks switching wheels etc

I'm just kind of estimating it much like a shop would for labor charges

no pics...forgot to take them and dont feel like walking back to the shop

its actually going about like I expected it...just taking some time because the bottom layer of paint is whats left of the factory color i think (a tan) and then it has black and green in heavy coats on top of it...

the wheels are working out well though because it's cleaning off a lot of the oxidation haze from the aluminum as well...

I did paint a cooler to match the finished boat after finally chewing up the wire wheel

Awesome. Last spring a friend and I bought a similar boat and removed the paint- about 3 layers of paint. The we painted it. Then we decided we hated our paint job so we sanded it down again. Then we decided to go with just brushed aluminum, no paint. Floating repair job but lots of fun!
