    Need help!

I've used the search function and help feature and cannot figure out how to Private Message anyone.

I'd like to order these seat spacers, but do not know how. I can rebuild an engine, but can't figure out how to PM someone. So frustrating.

I'm aware that legalese has to be put everywhere to protect oneself, but what are the reasons for not producing front risers?

Front w/ rear risers creates a longer lever and a weaker connection to the truck. Basically, due to inability to properly test the product the risk is not worth the reward.

The front of the seat also has shear pins, whereas the rear does not.

@7r41lbr34k3r and I talked a lot about this.

There is a locating pin just behind the front bolts that takes a direct shear load in front and side impacts. In essence, only part of the load is transmitted to the front bolts. Having that pin placed 1.5in higher on a riser changes that to shear plus bending in a single bolt connection. It is just inherently unsafe. That doesn't even get into material choices.

I checked the capability of the bolts for 1.0in rear spacers using some very conservative numbers. They were good. I need to go back and check 1.5in and 2.0in. I've been slacking a bit.

Regardless, I have a minimal concern in the rear compared to the fronts. The only way to do that properly would be with structure that either modifies the floor or somehow ties into the rear mounts?

So these spacers are just for the rear of the front seats? A pair includes two spacers for the back of one seat? Wouldn’t that tilt the seats forward instead of lifting them straight up?

The factory seat is tilted to the back to begin with. This will pick up the back of the seat to make it level. At least for me it was great. Yes one pair will do one seat.

For 1.25" you would need 3/4" spacers with 1/2" extensions. I planned to up my materials inventory so 1.25" and 1.5" would be possible in a single piece of material, but the interest hasn't been there enough to justify the additional purchase. (PM me for the order form if you have interest in that).

I am actually about to take a bit of a hiatus on these, but can process a few more orders.

    Current materials inventory is
    - six pairs of 1"
    - three pairs of 3/4"
    - eight pairs of 1/2"

These are all through the first operation and can be made into either spacers or extensions. I could knock some, or all of these out before my mill becomes committed to other duties. At that point it may be 5-6 weeks before I can make more.

Are the 1/2” extensions still available?

My machines are currently committed to other projects. It's going to be at least a month before I can make these again.

Do you still have these? I'm looking for 1 pair of 1/2" and 1 pair for 1" (front seats).
    Thanks!
