    Hey Everyone,

new to the thread here. Just purchased my first truck, a 2014 tacoma base cab with A.R.E. shell. (picture to follow). I am a carpenter by trade, and am looking for recommendations on roof rack that would fit above shell. I carry long lengths of lumber (16') from time to time. Any and all help is much appreciated.

Might try contacting your local A.R.E. Dealer.. most camper top places have options for adding a roof rack when you order a top.. they may have one designed specifically for yours. For lumber That long id probably consider a utility trailer of some sort.

Might want to consider adding a cross bar to the roof of the cab as well
