Hi there I need help. I just recently order a djm lowering kit 3/4. I just got the control arm off of my 98 Tacoma 2wd. Now here the hard part how do I get the control arm mounting shaft off of the control arm so I can install the djm control arm while using the old mounting.

It's probably molded into the rubber bushings my guess is you'll have to cut the bushings or press the bar out, either way you'll be left with bushings chunks that you're going to have to burn out with a torch.

Pictures of the actual part on end and what you are trying to install?

You could do what I did and order a djm lowering kit from djm suspension. Or a ball joint flip I haven’t got a chance to work on the newer tacomas. There is another one it called a drop spindle I’m not sure if they make for the newer Tacoma but I think they make for like gmc, Chevy, doge but yeah. Do your research I’m pretty sure on the forum has a lot of information.
