    2017 Grey Tacoma 4 Door
Hi all! This is my first post, very open to feedback if I am not in alignment with the forums standards! Thx in advance!

    I have a 2017 4 Door Tacoma, 5.5’, XP

I purchased/installed the TracRac system that does NOT have the capability of sliding up and down, varying the length of the truck bed. A year later, when I went to buy a cover - I was told that (at that time) this rack system was NOT compatible with ANY bed cover. So, I purchased a roll up cover that has Velcro? Don’t know the exact name of top of my head.

Anyways, I am going to be moving approx 1200 miles out of area, and as I comb thru looking at cargo carriers etc- now I see there IS a TracRac system that (1) SLIDE back and forth, (2) is compatible with the Tonneau (sp?) bed covers.

Is there a way to convert the TracRac system I bought in 2017 to slide up and down the bed? Is it possible to convert the old rack system to a new bed cover without having to purchase the TracRac One?

Oh boy! I hope that made sense!!

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this!!
