    I seen the pouches in the videos about this theft problem. There were also key boxes for the home that did the same.
    I have no doubt that it's happening in the US as well. The content I learned about this from was produced in Canada so that's why my remarks were as that and I said it could happen any where. I have to ask myself if getting a pouch to carry my keys in and a special key box at home are changes to my behavior that are worth the benifts of it over a key with buttons.

    Sure I had rental cars with it. Once you use it it is easier to walk up to your vehicle with you key in your pocket or handbag and just get on in start the engine and go. I have to think about the risk. I'm old enough to remember when keyless entry fobs became popular and those could be compromised.

    If it were doable it would probably be more expensive than just trading the truck in on a trim that comes with it...

    I have a key as well, 2020 SR5 4x4 with tech pack, im surprised it still exists in 2020.

    They make aftermarket conversion style kits if you really wanted to do it. Just stick with the key, not worth the hassle and last thing you’ll want is to get stranded if the Chinese junk fails.
