hey guys I have a spa heater that uses natural gas currently. I want to convert it propane. Does anyone have any experience doing that? I've found lots of natural gas to propane conversion kits on google, but I have no idea which one I would need. The spa heater is a Teledyne Laars XL. Any info would be great, thanks.

Try contacting the manufacturer , there is usually an approved kit .

yeah I tried..the manf was bought out by Jandy which is owned by zodiac (which my sister happens to work for) and they said they do not offer conversion kits. The rep wasnt very helpful on at least pointing me in the right direction. I may go to Amerigas or something and ask them

The jets are smaller with Propane than Natural gas.
I went the other way with a BBQ smoker and found a table online relating BTU to jet size on both.
Lost it or I would post it for you,
