Title is short... let us go with full shell replacement version.

    Longer details:
A deer decided to commit suicide on my truck(2002 extra cab 4wd TRD). Damage was basically driver door and fender... most of fender damage was so I could fully open door... amazing how poorly tire iron body work comes out:rolleyes::rofl:

The door damage is basically lower smooshed in shell... window still functions. Mild air leak along top edge. No damage at rocker panel or on cab behind door.

I have never really liked the electric locks or windows... in fact, I spent a lot of time trying to find a manual when I bought my old 99 new.

Rather than screw around with insurance, I'm going to track down a replacement door. Should be easier since my truck is white:p

What issues will I run into if I just buy a manual door and bolt it up? Can I just zip tie the power window/lock wiring up and forget it? Is there any body control computers that will spaz out or need to be replaced?

When you source a door shell
Both pwr/manual ‘guts’ are interchangeable to a door
That’s window regulators/rods/clips maybe door latches

Also different are trim panels(door cards)
(Cut a circle in door trim to mount the window turn crank)

    still do-able
Especially bc most prefer power option

Would be some work but could find another member close to you that would swap your power set up for their manual set up

I did a manual to power swap on old Acura
    I needed/got pwr regulators/door card switches/door cards/internal door wiring harness
Thankfully, donor door cards were same color as original interior
