    Hi everyone.

I have a 2009 Offroad Tacoma that I recently installed a 3" Tuff Country suspension lift w/ the 1" diff drop and the AAL in the rear.

I am interested in converting my 3" suspension to Bilstein 5100's, since I've noticed from other tacos with Bilstein 5100's (set at 2.5) that their front looks higher than mine, in addition to having a bigger gap in the front fender wells.

Is my front end of my Tacoma seem lower than those with 5100's because I installed the 1" diff drop?

When I eventually install the 5100's, should I remove my 1" diff drop?

I just want my front end to seem higher with a larger gap, in addition to having less damage (cv's, etc) in the future. Could anyone help me out and provide further information and recommendation to my situation?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if adding 5100's will raise it but i think it would, but i do know that removing your diff drop won't raise the truck, hope i helped!

the 5100's only give you a 2.5" lift. And you have to account for tire size. They might be running a different size tire then you.(smaller)

The diff drop has nothing to do with the suspention/lift. It just lowers your differential.
Its a good idea to leave it in even at a 2.5" lift. Less strain on the CV's
