Convince me to not get a Gladiator

You heard me. Im thinking about a Sport Gladiator. I can ride convertible (thats whats convincing me to go with a gladiator instead of a Tundra), and Ill have decent acceleration. I dont need a rear locker or crawl control (which doesn't do much in the mud or sand, ask me how I know) so I dont need to dish out money for a higher end model. I was considering a Bronco, but the 2.0L Ecoboost made me stay away. If someone here has had a gladiator help me pin point the negatives so I make the smart choice and get a 22 Tundra with the V6 Twin Turbo engine.

 

Jeeps are stupid. What else do you need to know?

I think the Gladiator is pretty cool set up. Love my Tacoma, but Gladiator has me looking

The Gladiators have some nice features/options,$$$$, but you can get them.

 

I just said I want to take the doors and top off, safety is not my concern at all.

 

I mean, Rams and Jeeps have always been known for reliability...if you dont get a lemon.

 

Take the doors off your Toyota and don’t wear your seatbelt if safety isn’t a concern

I saw a rendering of a Gladiator Rubicon with a cool topper on the bed, there was some envy.
