Believe it or not, some people still get death wobble completely stock on the jl and jt. The dealers can't figure it out so FCA usually buys them back if you raise a shit storm. It's super one-off though.

Get it and quit talking about it. If you’re unhappy with it why suffer.

    PS truck looks good though.

Yeah I’d believe it. Anything’s possible if there’s defective or misaligned components. From what I’ve read drifting is the main complaint. When we first test drove a JL my wife didn’t mention a drifting feeling but when we drove hers home I noticed it right away. Turns out the tires were a bit overinflated and after adjusting it was a bit better. Then wife immediately wanted bigger tires so we got a set of 5 rubicon takeoffs for $900 and that really made an improvement along with the TS stabilizer.

You sure about getting a first year production of a new motor? Possible growing pains with it I’d wait till year 3.

How long do you expect to keep it? Is ongoing maint cost a factor? Are you a skilled mechanic that can work on something often?

I mean my Tacoma is a year 2 sooo...Also, the big reason for wanting to trade is that my 125k warranty is gonna run out soon.

You afraid of a little mileage I’ll be at 165k at the end of the week, only things that have broke were self inflicted.
I get where your coming from though those jeeps look good with some lift and beefy tires.

Im not scared of the mileage itself, Im scared of another major thing breaking and having no Toyota Platinum to foot the bill.

You’d be surprised he wheels his truck harder than you wheel yours. And by “wheel” I mean going window deep in salt water

Get what you want, I’d love one of those jeeps with a lift and big tires. Saw one the other day with I think bronze method wheels it looked good. Too bad its an overpiced Chrysler.

Are we allowed to mention General Lee or dukes of hazard in this website these days? Seems to be a taboo topic these days.
