About a year and a half. Hoping to start putting a little more into it starting next year

Ordered some parts finally for this damn thing. Also may be going down a rabbit whole of replacing bushings depending on how they look i.e front/rear subframe, LCA, UCA, etc...Only reason I saw this is it's an old ass car and I'm already ripping out most of the stuff to replace them anyways (coilovers, LBJ, steering rack, wheel hubs to replace bearings). Plus with the subframes already out it'll be easier to replace somethings. Basically one huge "I'm AlReAdY iN tHiS fAr AnD iT's ReAlLy OlD" :duh:....but that's now, who knows the bolts could be super rusty and make me say no.

Annnyways I've got some parts coming and will be rebuilding my rack and pinion with this video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKog1-ZB0sk

If you guys think I'm stupid, go ahead and talk me out of it. But since I'll be "working" from home for the next few weeks I may as well start fixing shit. Plus I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket

Are you going to replace with OEM stuff? There's a guy in Australia that sells nylon subframe bushings. Google RonnieK and you'll see lots of old posts. I think you can still email him at ronio73@hotmail.com. BIC Performance used to sell some, but now they're only listing 86.5-88.

I saw that haven't contacted him and I'm pretty sure his are poly. But as of right now I will probably do this kit since I won't have to piece any other bushings together except rack and pinion bushings.

    https://cubespeed.com.au/shop/ols/products/supra-mk3-road-full-suspension-bush-kit

I found this same exact kit from their ebay site and it's like $800 shipped. There's a few local guys that have used this kit with out any problems.

That looks like a good kit! Lots of work ahead of you

I just dropped my motor back in yesterday (rod bearing #2 went bye bye). One day, I'd like to go through the suspension bushings and stuff again. Also, found some Euro turn signals (half amber/half clear) for $150 shipped from the UK. Been on the hunt for those for awhile.

Yeah it's going to be a huge project but one of my wheel bearings is going bad so I'm just going to do all of them so with that, having the suspension off and steering rack out I'm literally half way into subframe bushings so may as well.

Oh nice! I kinda want to go back to some amber signals since they look better on black, shouldn't be hard to find some but for now I'll leave it. I've been looking for some folding mirrors but haven't justified the price for them yet. Probably wait until I get a paint job so I can get it all done at once.

Made some decent progress last night got the front hubs out and the sway bar is off. Now time to start the rear depending on how work goes today

    92559394_10220111828001749_4041644945151_3e4e53230aee7402eb4a0d0668a80b352cc3b29c.jpg

Also managed to only break 3 things, one of which was going to be replaced. The damn speed senors were both rusted to the hubs so I managed to mangle them up pretty good. The other thing that got mangled up was the passenger sway bar link so I'll be cutting that off and replacing it sometime.

Just realized this is a super shitty pic haha

Nice! Makin some progress, always nice to get that kind of maintenance out of the way, everything feels better afterward. I sold the 300zx and picked up another "Toyota"...

Not as much progress but still some. Got all the parking brake stuff off, rear sway bar, diff drained and front LCAs off. Just need to hit the store for a 32mm socket to get the axle hub off. Hopefully at weeks end I’ll have all the hubs out.

Ran into an issue with the rear subframe, the exhaust has to drop off but is super rusted and I don’t feel like dealing with it. So the rear subframe bushings will wait until I have a shop do a new exhaust, which means a tad bit more power :burnrubber: Haven’t really looked into what all is needed for that but I know I may as well get a new down pipe as the stock restricts flow.

    Here’s some pics

And the passenger trailing arm somehow was bent so luckily I found one on eBay for $50. Should be here Monday

Finally got the euro turn signals I've been wanting for a long while. A couple small chips on the black edges, but I can probably fill, sand and paint it.

Get dat 3'' turbo back exhaust going!

Driftmotion sells a nice DP for the CT26. I had their full exhaust too but never got to hear it run so..no clue what it sounds like. had a friend just do 3" cat back with magnaflow and it was killer sounding.
