Also my driver side window motor died, so it should be a fun rain filled week until I can get it fixed :frusty:

Turns out my switch was bad so I'll have to put everything back together and hope I can get my window up until I get a new one.

Update: I got my window to go up and haven't touched it in fear of it not going back up

But I'm gonna get some cleaner and clean up the switch so I won't have to buy a new switch :woot:

But then again, when it rains it pours :pout: axle seal is toasted, replaced the driver side last Fall so a 3/4 year later this side goes :(

Don't really have time to fix this anytime soon, so I'll keep an eye on the oil level. Hopefully next month I'll be good to get this done

So thought I'd give a little update on the truck the past week since I'm a little bored ha.

So my window switch needed to be cleaned so I snagged some CRC electric cleaner and so far it's been working flawlessly. Huge shoutout to @Madjik_Man for the help!

Secondly on the drive home on Wednesday I felt my alignment getting worse and worse on the drive home (odd because I got it done on Friday prior) turns out my tire was low on air, figured it out just as I was getting home. So turned around and went to a gas station and filled it. Once home (I could actually hear now) I heard a slight hiss. :censored:

So I said screw it I'll just throw the spare on and get it fixed this weekend. So I let it cool down a bit and then drove to some flat area in the complex. Only to have the truck on the hi-lift, tire off and spare ready to go on that it was a 15" rim. :censored: With tundra brakes you need 16" or higher. So I threw everything back on, once the truck was on it's own weight tire died

So I was stumped for a few hours as I needed the truck to get a tire the next day. Then I was getting ready to post in the local 4Runner Facebook that I realized why don't I take one of the tires off the rear and throw it where the flat is and then throw the spare on the rear. Pure genius I thought, so I went back down and messed with it all and it worked (don't know why it wouldn't have  ) Sadly I didn't snag any pics of the weird looking truck only snapchat got those

Then the next morning I drove on down to 4 Wheel Parts as that's where I bought the tires hoping they'd still be under warranty. Just barely the guy said so I'll order a new tire and you're all set, but I don't have any so it'll be done tomorrow. So then after work on Friday I went and snagged the new tire, waited till it got cool and threw the bitch on.

Figured I'd throw it on the driver side as it'll help with the taco lean as it's got about 50% more tread than all the other tires

Also another update on the rear oil seal, I haven't seen any leakage since I first found it :notsure: I even checked the fluid level and a bunch came pouring out. I'll continue to monitor it and will likely still change everything out later this summer. But for now I'll let it ride until I start to see it leaking more. Don't have the time and funds to change it right this minute (still need to save for rims as other shit came up that forced me to spend that cash).

Also got some new patches in

When the last drop was for the Ray 10's I sat there waiting for the SR8's to show (they never did) but I could've snagged some Ray 10's. So seeing the SR8's aren't as popular I'm sure I'll be fine. But I'm still gonna sit there and wait with my F5 button going crazy haha

Hahaha. Ya gears and lockers are on my list as well especially sense I wanna go dirty5's, luckily I decided to bite the bullet on armor all at once pretty much.... that was a tough pill to swallow for sure, but gears and lockers I'm guessing that's gonna be somewhere between getting a colonoscopy and finding that your ol lady is banging your best friend and your dog died all in the same day hahaha. Yeah gears and rear bumper! Yeah it's a big chunk of change to get it, but I've heard it's the best mod people have done and I'll need it with all the weight
