Went out this past weekend to just get out before school ramps up with @bryanbyers28 A while back we did a trip to Flatlands creek with some guys but 17 Jeeps were in the way so we just turned around, but after 5 months of wanting to hit it I finally did. Except we got lost because I picked the wrong entrance of the trail and it was a PITA to find it, but we did just started from the rear this time. :anonymous:

On to the pics that I snagged (more than usual)

Trying to figure out which way to go at a fork (picked the correct one)

About halfway through the trail (after I almost rolled it :anonymous: ) we stopped for lunch.

And then at the end (beginning) of the trail. Definitely an awesome trail with a little bit of everything. Will be going back to it for sure.

Then we headed to Trey to camp for the night

This was the first time Bryan could use his air compressor so he aired down for shits and gigs

About half-way up we stopped for some pics in the "water fall"

Once we got to our campsite we set up fairly early so we could start cooking and drinking :drunk:

Before we even got to Trey the weather was at a 0% chance of rain that night. Uh yeah they were wrong, we got caught in the middle of a thunderstorm, but all good because I had my awning setup and it did wonders. I tried to get pics of the lightening but it wasn't cooperating with me.

    The morning after

Waiting on Bryan to air up so we could head to Bell Mountain!

They had since paved Bell which sucked because it used to be the "hardest" trail in Ga and now a damn Lexus car was up there right after us. It sucks because now it's going to be extremely busy but hopefully we can camp there still.

But there is still one spot you can still "wheel" on

    Baby stuff

Good thing I'm getting new rear shocks soon because I have no droop with these

    And one more!

All in all good short trip, can't wait to get out more with the weather slowly cooling down. I'll have some new shocks next week but won't install them till next next Friday. Bryan also got tons of GoPro/Drone footage so once he gets that up and running I'll post it up as well.

:jellydance: Wish I could get out and go camp at least! At least I have the Christmas Tree run in December to look forward too.

I've got nothing anytime soon tbh. Which sucks but maybe things will just randomly pop up.

Wish we could do something like that out here...

Guess I don't know how I've missed your build thread. Sub'd... and have ~60 pages to catch up on

Looks like you're having a good time here in CO according to the BS page. We'll have to get together next time you're in the area.

    Anyway:

Haha I'm in downtown Springs right now. At Phantom Canyon. I'll put a "trip report" up once I'm come back

How's that awning in the rain? Does the water pool in the middle of it or can you set up leaned to one side to drain off? Looks like a fun trip!

It pooled a little bit, then we realized that we can pop up one side to let it run down. But it did pretty good! If it had been a 4 ft it wouldn't have worked as well. It was awesome to get out finally

    You should look at steepandcheap.com

On occasion they will have camping gear on sale, including primus and Coleman camping stoves.

Quite high! I saw it and tried to tell my spotter and stalled it ha. I didn't move until he got on the bed. Then I started the truck again, next time I won't try the high side haha
