Do you know if your truck has drain holes in the bed? Mine is holding water and I can't see any evidence of a drain from in the bed or under the truck looking up at the bed. The previous owner had a bed liner sprayed in so if there are drains they may just be filled in with bed liner.

Anybody else with a 1st gen feel free to chime in.

I have 2 drain holes in the corners by the cab. Mine has bed liner too but they managed to keep them free of the bed liner. I find that little gravel rocks do find their way in there often and plug them up though.

Thank you!!!! I have the same thing. They were majorly clogged. I couldn't even see them. That is a very poor design. I may end up drilling some better drains.

I drilled holes in my bed for tool boxes... and the first pair of holes were in the incorrect location. So I guess I drilled drain holes for my bed:anonymous:

That's always a good thing to have ha! I need to get some tie downs for my bed so I can stop my cooler from rolling around

Not a particularly great picture but the L track works great!

This "kit" I got on Amazon came with plates that go under the bed too so they're plenty strong.

I'll look into that, may get some to do the entire length of the bed. Not sure yet, it's a small thing on the list

@Delta00 is building me a bed rack that has two 4ft sections of L track running down the length of it. Its going to be awesome. I also have 2 more pieces of the 1 ft L track that I'm going to mount just inside the wheel wells eventually.

Just the pieces I have mounted now have been incredibly useful. The extra tie down points are great when loading up for camping. Especially since I don't have a tailgate.

That's what I'd like to do eventually, kinda like how BoxRocket does his. I bet that helps a bunch without having a tailgate to keep things from falling out
