I'm with you there. I bought a second set so I can rock them all year round between my sets of summer/winter tires. I think the styling is classic. This truck has really made me appreciate smaller wheels as well, especially with some tall sidewall.

The one I find most annoying is the pre-collision nanny, unfortunately turning it off makes a dash light stay lit.

OP does mention his driving is why his MPG, and I believe it.
On a trip from So Oregon to So Calif starting with less than 1K miles on the truck (so engine still not quite fully broke in yet) I hit 25.5MPG at times (also manually-calculated) doing ~60MPH. A tailwind and engine with several K more miles on it could easily push that past 26 maybe even 27. Go 75MPH though and it plummets like a rock (also, put E-rated Toyo M/Ts on and watch it plummet too lol)

As for things I didn't care about at first, I would put the backup camera on that list. Pretty much the only time I pay much attention to it is when hooking up a trailer, it lets me see exactly where I need to be to drop the hitch onto the ball.

As strange as it may seem, I really love the steering wheel controls. My 1st Gen double cab didn’t have em & I didn’t think I’d use them on this truck, but they’re really kinda handy. I also love having the 6 foot bed too. That 5 foot bed was useless at times.

Port installed option. I paid like $150 for them as an "add", which is sort of ridiculous, but it was one of those things that were on the truck, so I swallowed that cost. I did get them to remove the $120 for nitrogen filled tires though (the biggest ripoff on earth). So, sort of happy for that trade-off. "Southeast Toyota Distributors" are the real mafia behind high costs in my area of the country. MSRP goes way up once they're involved. Dealers are bad at times, but that middle man shit is bunk.

I know you didn’t ask, but all new vehicles post 2018 require a back up camera haha

The in dash USB drive for music.
When you turn the truck back on it starts right up where it left off (mid song)

You are correct - I didn't - but my previous "new" vehicle was a 2001 4Runner. Many changes

    I didn’t realize I had a lumbar adjustment until 2 months ago.
