Daily driver is leaking coolant while engine is warm. Leak empties coolant reservoir in about a week, so not sustainable to drive like this.

Appears to be coming from engine block, just underneath/inside the starter on the driver's side. Coming from a port/valve/thing but have been unable to determine what that "thing" is.

What is this thing/what system is it a part of?

So its dripping off the starter vent tube.....

....and you do know there is all kinds of fluid hoses right above that....

mine has coolant lines going to egr......to iac.....and then back into engine....
not to mention the heater hoses right above and behind these.....

the iac even has gasket to the throttle body that is a fluid passage....
    that could be it.....
.....so somewhere around 8 locations before even considering an engine leak.....
