Coolant Leak/ Head Gasket??

    As for the "mark the bolt" method, I am not a fan of that. A torque angle meter allows you to more evenly observe the angle as you pull. I don't like the idea of tightening a bit, then looking at a mark on a bolt, then tightening a bit more to make the mark match. That is why I use a good, quality torque angle meter. When you do these head jobs as often as I have over the years, the meter makes it so much more worth it.

    One more thing, after pricing everything out @ the local Toyota dealer (head gasket kit, head bolts, t-belt, water pump), I'm starting to realize how pricey the parts alone are... Any suggestions/ recommendations for good aftermarket parts, or should I just bite the bullet and stick w/OEM?
