Coolant temp rises after engine is turned off....normal?

My '96 Taco 2rz runs awesome, never any sign of overheating on the factory gauge. With my torque lite app on my phone and a cheap OBD2 reader she always runs below ~187°F when driving down the road, and idling. But when the engine is shut off the temps can climb to ~205° or even a tad more. Then I restart the car and they drop back down pretty quickly.

May seem like a dumb question....but I'm thinking this is normal right? Hot temps outside plus residual heat in the motor and no water pump/fan to cool = slightly hotter coolant temps? Just making sure...

Ok perfect, that's what I was thinking. But was surprised it went up by 20°.
